QR Codes

What are QR Codes?

QR-Codes are two dimensional barcodes that are designed to have thier contents decoded at a high speed.  If you were to scan the code to the left with an iPhone, iPod or other device, it would direct you to my website.

So how can these codes be used in education?


Teachers can create codes that direct students to open webpages, send text messages, dial phone numbers and more.  Check out the following resources for using QR codes in the classroom.

So how do I create my own QR Code?
Creating your own QR Code is FREE and very simple.  There are many online generators availalbe and most can be saved as a graphic file or pdf file.
